Natchitoches, LA

So this morning I woke up puking, dehydrated once again. I think my body hates me sometimes. We had a nice big breakfast and then everyone got their tattoos for Tat-Tuesday. Tiff drew me a pretty awesome octopus holding a martini. A bunch of us gathered and prayed before our ride, something that started after news of Christina. I was pumped and all read to go and then Corey told me that he had heard that I had been puking and was probably dehydrated. So I was stuck in the van :( I love Vanessa and what she stands for but I hate having to ride in the van. It feels like defeat. So I spent the morning re hydrating and then at lunch I decided it was time Fiona and I stretched our legs! So I rode out of lunch with Dre and Josh A. Dre was riding with a very nice painting that he had found along the ride today. Not sure how many miles into the ride but I guess it doesn't matter. We found a lake and some of us got into the water for a bit. We left the lake with Alyssa and Jillian. I really enjoyed riding with everyone because I generally don't get to ride with these guys. Josh and I were able to talk quite a bit and Dre entertained us with his musical talents of course! The last few miles were rough because I was still fairly dehydrated but Dre was very encouraging and made sure that I finished the ride. After arriving at the host we took a walk to Taco Bell and enjoyed the food and each others company. After T-Bell I had a nice nap on my thermarest and then rolled out my legs and opened mail. Kelly's mom is really great at making sure that we get mail at every drop! I love her. a. lot. Dinner was served by a campus ministry so we walked to campus and then got to hangout for a while on campus before dinner was served. There weren't really any vegetarian options so they made us our own special food. So nice of them and definitely appreciated. After dinner I was ready to crash but it was our turn to clean out the van. So we cleaned and then sent a text to Noelle telling her that we missed her! It's still weird without her here. BWalsh and Christina gave the AH presentation. After that it was bed time for me!
