Building in Garland

So I woke up this morning excited because I knew that it was a build day but then I quickley got less excited as I realized that I could not open my right eye. Not only couldn't I open my eye but it was also swollen and extremely painful. So after finding Will and explaining the situation it was clear that I could not build today and that I should probably go to the doctor. Sonia and I headed to a walk in clinic that was near by. The doctor took one look at my eye and told me that I needed to go to the hospital. I was a little panicked but what can you do? So we headed to the hospital where I later found out that I had somehow managed to get a severe scratch to my cornea!!! Everything is bigger in Texas, including cornea scratches! So I got lots of meds and then had to wear a patch over my eye as well as sunglasses. I am still super bummed that I missed out on building but glad that I finally figured out my migraines, or so I think! This evening Sally got us all tickets to a Rangers game. We all got bobble heads as well. It was really nice to get dressed up and go to a real world event with the whole Bike & Build family. Many good chats, good food, great company. Took a walk with leader Sonia, took pictures of Kristina sleeping and then of course more chatting with Tiffany! After the game we all piled into one of Sally's vans and headed back to her house for some late night swimming! Sally is the best host ever.
